homeEd provides affordable rental units including apartments and townhouses throughout Edmonton. Accessible units for persons with disabilities or reduced mobility are also available on a limited basis.

2. What types of accommodation are available?
Over 800 rental units are available including 2 and 3 bedroom townhouses and bachelor, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Ask about accessible, barrier-free units if you have special needs.

Non-profit Units
Each property has a prescribed number of units that must be rented at a set rent, which is lower than the market rent for that area.
Affordable Units
Fixed rents at least 10% below the market rent for that area.

4. What is included in the rent?
Apartment complexes include a refrigerator, stove, gas, water and sewer utilities. Electricity costs are the responsibility of the tenant.
Townhome complexes include a refrigerator, stove, washer and dryer. All utilities are the responsibility of the tenant.
