HomeEd’s Parkside North project receives $3.8 million from City of Edmonton

On September 7, 2022 it was announced that the City of Edmonton's Executive Committee granted HomeEd $3.8 million as part of their Affordable Housing Investment Program.
"HomeEd greatly appreciates the investment the City is making to support the development of family-oriented, affordable homes in an environmentally responsible way,” said Nick Lilley, chief executive officer, HomeEd. “We look forward to making Parkside North in Griesbach a hallmark of inclusive, sustainable development in Edmonton.”
HomeEd’s proposed project involves the development of approximately 85 three-bedroom townhouses. The mixed-income project will target NetZero status, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and environmental sustainability. With no less than 50% affordable units, 20% accessible units, and on-site community services, the project also emphasizes inclusive community development.
