How to Pay the Rent
Your rent must be paid in full on or before the first day of each and every month. Please call your Portfolio Manager if you have any questions about paying rent.
Cash is not accepted as a form of payment. Tenants may pay by automatic bank withdrawal, money order or certified cheque. Funds are payable to The City of Edmonton Non-Profit Housing Corporation.
Additional Charges
If you are having trouble paying your rent, contact your Portfolio Manager right away. They will instruct you on what you can do next.
A $35 late payment charge will be added to your account for rent payments made after the first day of the month. An additional $20 fee will be charged to your account for returned cheques. Charges are subject to change without notice.
Late or Unpaid Rent
You are required to pay your rent in full on or before the first day of the month unless some other arrangement has been made in advance with the Landlord. Late or partial payment of rent is a breach of the Residential Tenancy Agreement and will result in you receiving a Notice of Termination of Tenancy.
